Baptisia Australis
The indigo Baptisia australis, lupine, is a beautiful border plant that needs some support, however. The whole appearance of the indigo Lupin resembles the well-known lupine. Baptisia australis thrives in the period May-June with dark blue flowers. After flowering appear decorative greyish blue seed boxes. Baptisia australis is the height of approximately 100 to 120 cm. the sweetest Baptisia australis stands in the full sun.

Baptisia Chocolate Chip
Baptisia ‘Chocolate Chip’ has reddish purple flowers which are nearly identical in color to Baptisia ‘Dutch Chocolate’. It was noted that ‘Chocolate Chip’ had larger flowers and inflorescences. However, both cultivars are relatively young, and those measurements may change. ‘Chocolate Chip’ proved to be a sturdy plant all season long.
