A succulent plant with glossy, heart- or kidney-shaped leaves and a thick, hollow, branching stem with bright, shiny white flowers. The flowers of this showy spring plant resemble large buttercups rather than the marigolds. The leaves are sometimes used as potherbs but require several short boilings with changes of water between. .

Caltha palustris Multiplex
This Dotter flower blooms with yellow double flowers from april to June. He remains somewhat smaller if the kingcup, about 30 cm. its leaf is coarse, round and shiny. Put this plant in the Sun or partial shade. He can be used as as Marsh and shore plant. He is what more sensitive to frost than the kingcup. This plant is toxic!!!
