This plant is ideal for relatively open gardens with only a single mature tree or shrub. Requires a fairly sunny spot with occasional shade of trees or shrubs. The soil should be rich in nutrients, translucent and moist, although a dry place well tolerated. Hardly proliferates and combines well with other plants.
