Very nice double FIXED Hollyhock m. ' Freedom ' flourishes with salmon pink flowers remove the dead flowers to ensure that the plant survives the winter. Cut the stem back in autumn in time fully, then still at the base of the plant new rosettes formed for the following year. At skimpy and cold freezing weather the plants best cover with pine or spruce branches. The plant likes a warm, dry location.

Also known as Althaea Parkallee '. It is a flowering border plant for a lime poor not to heavy soil. This long bloomers in natural plantings. Fullest extent in the autumn, so that new rosettes for the following year. Winter protection is advisable.
